From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles. Turn left onto George McAllister Road, FR2060. Continue about 1.1 miles, turn right onto FR -105 and walk about 0.4 miles, finally following a fence line, to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 8"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The monument is at the SW corner of a 6x6" wire mesh fence. There are two faded yellow signs mounted on a T-post which bears W, 44" distant and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign mounted on a U-post which bears E, 41" distant. Found an original ponderosa pine with an open blaze, a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign and four yellow BEARING TREE tags. The recent, NW bearing tree is preserved as a sawed stump with melted signs. Also found a ponderosa pine with two yellow BEARING TREE tags and two LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs.

The section N of the corner is private property; else Deschutes National Forest.
