The Old Union Complex is a set of buildings around a grass quadrangle and
fountain. Entrance is through an archway. The old Union is opposite the arch entrance and the clubhouse and nitery form the two sides of the Old Union Quad.
The San Francisco Guide says of the Stanford Union:
The STANFORD UNION is a clubhouse for men built largely through the efforts of Herbert Hoover of the class of 1895. Informal “bull sessions” have for years been held in the “cellar”, a small downstairs cafeteria.
The Stanford Union can be seen in Google Street View.
