Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present quarter corner bears S0.7°E from WAYMARK WMQYH6, 1332' distant.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe in a collar of stones; rising 7"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There is a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign mounted on a U-post which bears N, 17" distant. Also PROPERTY BOUNDARY and ATTENTION signs are mounted on a T-post which bears S, 25" distant. Found two ponderosa pines with completely healed blazes. The SW tree has no metal signs. The NE tree has a BEARING TREE shield, a partly burned LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign and another faded yellow sign.


What property is this mark defining?:
The section W of the corner is private property; else Deschutes National Forest.
