Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present sixteenth corner bears N89.4°E from WAYMARK WMQW63, 1342' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on galvanized steel pipe; rising 7"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The monument is at the NE corner of a well-maintained barbed wire fence. A faded LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign is mounted on a T-post which bears S, 30" distant. PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs are mounted on a U-post which bears W, 31" distant. Found two ponderosa pines, each with a healed blaze, a yellow BEARING TREE tag and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the backside.

the section SE from the monument is private property; else Deschutes National Forest
