Midland Cemetery was set out in 1903 with the first burial being in 1904 and is located on Myles Road, Swan View, 32 kilometres north-east of Perth city. Many of the Italian community who were pioneers in the area are buried here. There is also a special section for the Chinese community with a classic arch to mark the entrance to their section.
