Die Steinbogenbrücke mit einem Joch wurde im
Jahre 1773 erbaut und zeigt auf der Südseite das
Wappen des Erzbistums Bamberg und gegenüber das
der Markgrafschaft Bayreuth/Kulmbach. Durch den Bau einer größeren Strasse (um 1920) wurde sie für den Durchgangsverkehr entbehrlich und geriet in Vergessenheit. Erst 1998 wurde sie vor dem weiteren Verfall durch umfangreiche Sanierung in ihrem Bestand gesichert.

Bridge was built in 1773 and shows on the south side a historic borderstone with
Coat of arms of the diocese of Bamberg and on the north side the
Coat of arms of Margraviate Bayreuth / Kulmbach. It was renewed in the year 1998.
