The Cranwell is a luxury resort and spa in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts. This 8' high wooden sculpture of a cello is on display just before the entrance to the Cranwell theater venue.
The sculpture is made of wood, painted white, and decorated with the images of birds in flight. It looks very real except for the fact that the f-holes are painted on and it is missing the endpin. It is supported by a metal post anchored into the ground.
