Designed by world-renowned architect from Hull, Cuthbert Brodrick, Leeds Corn Exchange opened in 1863 and operated as a traditional Corn Exchange until the early 1990s.
The clock has a white face with black hands and Roman Numerals, In the centre of the clock face is a star design and the whole thing is in a carved stone roundel. The roundel has carvings of flower heads around it, which may be white roses, the symbol of Yorkshire
