The St-Agapit roman catholic church is located at 1002 Chemin d'Oka in Deux-Montagnes.
The main feature of the bell tower is the fact that it is not placed on the top of the building, but is located just beside it. It measures more than 100 feet (35 meters).
The church was built in 1962 and its architecture is very modern and was influenced by Vatican 2 (Second Vatican Ecumenical Council), a vast entreprise of the modernization of the Church, which took place between 1962 to 1965. The main implications for the faithfuls, was a change in lithurgy, which quickly reflected in the way the construction of the new churches of that time was made.
You can clearly see the bells inside the tower, 5 large ones and 3 smaller ones at the top of the tower.
