DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1965
1.8 MI SW FROM PAWCATUCK.
1.8 MILES SOUTHWEST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 1 FROM THE JUNCTION OF
STATE HIGHWAY 2 AT PAWCATUCK, NEAR THE WEST CORNER OF THE
STONINGTON HIGH SCHOOL YARD, SET ON THE TOP OF THE HIGHEST PART
OF A MASS OF OUTCROP, 124 FEET WEST OF THE WEST CORNER OF THE
STONINGTON HIGH SCHOOL, 97.5 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER LINE
OF THE HIGHWAY, 55.5 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE NORTHEAST CONCRETE
CURB OF A BLACK TOP STREET LEADING SOUTHEAST FROM THE HIGHWAY, 48
FEET NORTH OF POWER LINE POLE 2947 AND ABOUT 2 FEET ABOVE THE
LEVEL OF THE HIGHWAY.
