This station, a U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey standard bench mark disk, is located in Stonington, CT. It is set in a large rock outcrop at the southeast corner of an intersection of U.S. Route 1, North Water Street, and Flanders Road. Below is the original 1965 NGS published description:

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1965
0.8 MI NW FROM STONINGTON.
0.2 MILE WEST ALONG TRUMBULL AVENUE FROM THE NORTHEAST END OF
THE OVERPASS OVER THE NY, NH AND H RAILROAD AT STONINGTON, THENCE
0.6 MILE NORTHWEST ALONG FLANDERS ROAD, AT THE INTERSECTION OF
U.S. HIGHWAY 1 AND FLANDERS ROAD, SET ON TOP AND AT THE HIGHEST
PART OF A MASS OF EXPOSED BEDROCK WHICH PROJECTS 1 FOOT ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE GROUND, 34 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE
HIGHWAY, 41 1/2 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF FLANDERS ROAD,
19 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE NORTH GATE POST
AT ENTRANCE TO GOLF COURSE, ABOUT 2 FEET ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE
HIGHWAY. NOTE-- MARK MAY BE REACHED BY GOING 3.2 MILES SOUTHEAST
ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 1 FROM THE POST OFFICE AT MYSTIC.

Bringing things a little more up-to-date, Flanders Road, from the railroad tracks to U.S. Rt.1 is now N. Water Street. Flanders Road starts at the Rt.1 crossing, and goes north. The golf course is gone.
The station mark is in the southeast corner of the intersection, northwest from a Shell gas station at the same corner. The mark is also 10-ft east from a traffic signal control box.

Park at the Shell gas station, and walk right up to the mark.
