A dedicated bench that reads:

IN MEMORY OF
VIRGINIA FIGUEROA
2004

I located an online obit for Virginia that reads:

Figueroa, Virginia Chavez
May 8, 1930-November 7, 2004 A California Girl Born in Los Angeles, California, Virginia was raised by her grandparents (Gabriel and Guadalupe Sanchez) in South Los Angeles. She was a Washington High School graduate, Class of 1949. Upon graduation, she worked as a telephone operator for Pacific Bell until her marriage in 1955 to Gilbert E. Figueroa. They made their home in Norwalk, California, where she was a great homemaker and mother of three children (Gilbert, Juliann, and Benay). In 1969, the family moved to Virginia's cherished Huntington Beach to be closer to good friends and the ocean. After serving as a yard guard at Dwyer Middle School, Virginia found her occupational calling as a real estate agent. This was a calling that was perfectly suited to her outgoing personality. She was a member of the Million Dollar sales club when only Hollywood mansions cost that much. Virginia succumbed to the affects of a major stroke she had in 2000. Along with her loving husband and children, Virginia is survived by her daughter-in-law Tammy, son-in-law Doug, and grandchildren Brittney and Chad Figueroa and Hayden Moore. A memorial service is to be held November 13, 2004 at 12:00 p.m., Meadowlark Golf Clubhouse, 16782 Graham Ave., Huntington Beach. Please contact the family if you would like to attend.
