Mission del Oro is a modern hotel that was built in the style of the old Spanish California Missions.

There has never been a mission in Santa Nella, however the building has become the most iconic site in this small Central Valley community.

The tower is decorative only. It can not be climbed and we don't know if it is actually possible to ring the bells.

Nevertheless, in the flat countryside of the California Central Valley, it is a landmark visible for many miles.
