This one was made by Auguste Rodin from France who lived from 1840 to 1917. This sculpture was named The Shade, and it was first modeled in 1880 and enlarged in 1901. It's made of bronze and is a gift from B. Gerald Cantor Art Foundation.
This sculpture is in a free section of LACMAA. I didn't pay a fee to see it. It's in a public outdoor sculpture garden just to the south of the main entrance. It's locked at night to protect them against vandalism, but it's available during daylight hours.
