Long Description:Originally known as Green End Cottage in the 15 + 16 century. First
to attend the school were automatically put in Master's
accommodation. Later arrivals had to find their own lodgings.
The main upper right-hand window is said to have been the
Wordsworth boys study and where young William carved his name. In
the 1870's a local carpenter repaired the seat and inadvertantly
removed the carving.
