This memorial is adjacent to the Plough pub, North of Plumpton Green. The surrounding area is farmland. The pub building is post-war, as the original Plough was demolished to make way for the Chailey Advanced Landing Ground.
The monument is a tall pyramid, topped with a metal cruciform shape representing an aircraft
