There are some mammut trees, located at the Stadtpark in Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
The sequoias in Friedrichshafen are among the oldest in Europe - but they are all still dwarfs. Mountain-Mammoth-Trees can be more than 3000 years old, more than 90 meters high and far over 2100 tons heavy. Stem diameter of 12 meters are possible.
1864 the royal garden construction and management received the assignment of King Wilhelm I. of Württemberg, to cultivate half a pound mammoth seeds and to plant with the seedlings the royal gardens and parks. In 1867 King Karl of Württemberg gave the city an annual mammoth sapling.
