EN: This former transformer tower stands in Rheinsulz near the road to Sulz. You cannot get closer to it than about 30 meters.
The tower is about 10 meters high and has a shed roof, which is very rare in this area. The building has two entrances, the one to the west can be accessed by a ladder.
The tower is slightly weathered and no longer in operation. On three sides the insulators to the overhead lines are still attached.
DE: Dieser ehemalige Transformatorenturm steht in Rheinsulz in der Nähe der Strasse nach Sulz. Man kann sich ihm nur auf etwa 30 Meter nähern.
Der Turm ist etwa 10 Meter hoch und hat ein Pultdach, was in dieser Gegend sehr selten ist. Das Gebäude hat zwei Eingänge, der im Westen ist über eine Leiter zu erreichen.
Der Turm ist etwas verwittert und nicht mehr in Betrieb. An drei Seiten sind noch die Isolatoren für die Freileitungen angebracht.
