Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present quarter corner bears N88.4°E from WAYMARK WMQW1F, 2622' distant.
Travel cross-country through thinned forest.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2 " brass cap on galvanized iron pipe; rising 5"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and ATTENTION signs mounted on a T-post which bears E, 31" distant. Also a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign on a U-post which bears W, 5'2" distant. Found two ponderosa pines each with a scribed blaze, a yellow BEARING TREE sign and an ATTENTION sign on the backside.
What property is this mark defining?:
The section N of the corner is private property; else Deschutes National Forest.
