Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present standard corner bears S0.5°E from WAYMARK WMQVYQ, 2661' distant.
Travel cross-country through brush and some thick understory.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 9"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There are two U-posts with signs. One, with a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign, bears N, 24" distant. The other, with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs, bears E, 30" distant. There is also a short T-post, with faded PROPERTY BOUNDARY and ATTENTION signs, which bears S, 24" distant. Found two ponderosa pines with healed blazes and yellow BEARING TREE tags.


What property is this mark defining?:
Sections NE and SW from the corner are private property, else Deschutes National Forest. The standard corner is on the Third Standard Parallel South.
