This is a combined WWI WWII memorial. It is a large piece of cut granite with a bronze tablet mounted to the granite. In the center inscribed is DEDICATED IN HONOR OF THE PATRIOTIC MEN AND WOMEN OF THE TOWN OF NORTH SMITHFIELD WHO SERVED THEIR COUNTRY IN TIME OF WAR
This inscription is flanked by fleur-de-lis with 1917 1918 on left and to the right 1941 1446
The WWII veterans are listed after the list WWI veterans. There are 600+ veterans listed that served during WWII. Some of the veterans listed are John F Curis, Alfred E King MD, Edmond J Piche, and Bruce J Stokes
