Sochar Zdenek Krybus pocházel z Kojetína. V roce 1942 vstoupil do Školy umení ve Zlíne s perspektivou stát se malírem.

Jeho kresby se vyznacovaly jistotou linie a postrehem formy. Práve pro tyto vlastnosti jej profesor Vincenc Makovský prijal za svého žáka. V letech 1944 a 1945 pracoval v socharsko-štukatérských dílnách filmových ateliéru v Praze na Barrandove. Po válce vstoupil na Akademii výtvarných umení v Praze, kterou studoval ve speciální škole monumentálního socharství profesora Karla Pokorného. Po ukoncení studia pusobil na této škole jako aspirant a asistent. V období 1972-1975 pracoval jako docent na katedre výtvarné výchovy Pedagogické fakulty Karlovy univerzity v Praze.

Sculptor Zdenek Krybus came from Kojetína. In 1942 he joined the School of Arts in Zlin with the prospect of becoming a painter.

His drawings are characterized by certainty line and observation forms. It is for these qualities make him a professor Vincent Makovsky accepted as a pupil. Between 1944 and 1945 he worked in sculpture and-stucco workshops film studios in Prague's Barrandov. After the war, he entered the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, he studied at a special school of monumental sculpture professor Karel Pokorny. After graduation he worked at the school as a student and assistant. In the period 1972-1975 he worked as an associate professor in the Department of Art Education of Charles University in Prague.
