The first chiseled benchmark we found was on the old Bank of Montreal building in Rossland, BC. It seems we had to go clear across the country, to Prince Edward Island, to find another. This one, a chiseled arrow, is in the grey foundation stone to the right of the north entrance on the west side of the Kings County Courthouse along Kent Street, AKA Highway 3. Almost directly below the blue Prince Edward Island heritage plaque, it is about two feet above ground level. The datasheet indicates the last date of inspection as being 1908. Given its ID number, 08P9001, that would have been the year it was monumented.
The courthouse itself was built in 1887.
