According to the 1901 census of Ottawa, Edna Rochester (daughter of Daniel and Lucie) was born in Ontario, 16 April 1887.

According to the Ontario marriage registration (1915 #002151), Lillian Edna Rochester (daughter of Daniel Baillie Rochester and Lucy Helena Cole) married Hugh Archibald Richards in Westboro, 9 June 1915. The following marriage notice appeared in The Ottawa Journal newspaper, 10 June 1915.

On Wednesday June 9, 1915, at "Maple Lawn," Richmond Road, by Rev. Dr. Rochester, Lillian Edna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Rochester, 145 James street, to Hugh Archibald Richards, son of Mr. Archibald Richards.

The text below is taken from The Ottawa Citizen newspaper, 22 January 1995, page C9.

At Extendicare Starwood on January 20, 1995, in her 108th year. Lillian Edna Rochester, widow of Hugh A. Richards. She was a graduate of MacDonald College in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and the University of Toronto Class of 1910. She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy (Sidney Bagnall), Toronto; Helen (Edward Gordon), Nepean; and a son, John (Wilma), Ottawa; and a brother, W. Laurence Rochester, Ottawa. She was predeceased by son, Norman and brothers, Lloyd and Bertram. There are 13 grandchildren, Judith (Gordon Ross), Pickering; Susan (John Andreoli), Gravenhurst; Peter Richards, Fisherville; Paul Richards (Lynne), Brooklin; Hugh Bagnall (Sharon), Toronto; Jane Bagnall, Toronto; Dane Richards, Waterloo; Nancy Richards and Stephen Richards, Ottawa; Leigh Bonnet Nichol (Steven), Toronto; Beth Gordon, Ottawa; James Gordon, Toronto; Barbara Gordon Aucoin (Martin), Nashville, TN. The eleven great-grandchildren are Michael, Jennifer and Timothy Ross, Angelina and Andrew Andreoli, Adam Richards, Patricia and Robert Richards, Rhonda Lynn Bagnall, Wendy Nichol and Alanna Aucoin. A Service of Thanksgiving for Edna's long life will be held in the Chapel of Dominion-Chalmers United Church at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 1995, with a reception following in the Church Parlour. Flowers gratefully declined, however anyone wishing to contribute in her memory may do so to the U.C.W. Dominion-Chalmers United Church, 355 Cooper Street, Ottawa, K2P 0G8 or Starwood Memorial Fund, Extendicare Starwood, 114 Starwood Road, Nepean, K2G 3N5.
