EN: This stone fountain stands in Hersberg at the bus stop in the village center. The fountain has a roughly five-meter long stone basin. The square fountain column with the two tubes is made of concrete and obviously younger than the basin.
The basin has a striking irregularity of shape at the front side. I suspect, therefore, that it originally stood at a crossroads. The fountain is not dated and I could not find any other details.
DE: Dieser Steinbrunnen steht in Hersberg an der Bushaltestelle im Dorfzentrum. Der Brunnen hat einen rund fünf Meter langen Steintrog. Die quadratische Brunnensäule mit den zwei Röhren ist aus Beton und offensichtlich junger als der Trog.
Der Trog hat an der Vorderseite eine auffällige Unregelmässigkeit der Form. Ich vermute deshalb, dass er ursprünglich an einer Kreuzung stand. Der Brunnen ist nicht datiert und ich konnte auch keine anderen Details herausfinden.
