This Czechoslovak post stamp issued in 1988, from a series devoted to Prague' fountants, depicts Fountain with dolphins at St. Nicholas Church (Kašna s delfíny u kostela Sv. Mikuláše) in Prague' Old Town Square (Staromestské námestí).
This interesting stone fountain with three small basins in trefoil ground plan, is work of architect Rudolf Kríženecký from 1906. The fountain' centre is decorated by column crowned by three intertwined dolphins, sculpted by František Hnátek.
