Suddenly at his residence 80 Glebe Ave., on Sunday, September 21, 1980, in his 103rd year, Ernest Moses Barrett, beloved husband of the late Jennie Church and the late Grace Secord. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Barrett with his late brother George founded Barrett Bros. Ltd., and was a life member of Dalhousie Lodge 52 A.F. and A.M., and past patron of Success Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. Friends may call at Hulse and Playfair Central Chapel, 315 McLeod Street. Service on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Cremation Pinecrest.
According to the Ontario marriage registration (1902 #004461), Ernest Moses Barrett (son of George W Barrett and Ann Jane Gleason) married Margaret Jennie Church in Billing's Bridge, 7 May 1902.
