Encontra-se erigido sob um soco de três degraus quadrados, onde se ergue a base, coluna, capitel e remate.
De feitura oitocentista, ele encontra-se construído em mármore branco de Estremoz e inspirado na arte clássica, tendo reaproveitado os elementos do pelourinho original que se perdeu com o terramoto de 1755.
|  The pillory of Monsaraz establishes the symbol of jurisdiction and the county autonomy.
It is erected on a punch of three square steps, where stands the base, column , capital and shot .
In nineteenth-century workmanship, it is built in white marble Estremoz and inspired by the classic art , having salvaged the elements of the original pillory that was lost with the 1755 earthquake .
