This historic district encompasses most of the St. Louis University campus and the St. Louis theatre district. The district includes indiviually listed sites, the Fox Theater, the St. Louis Theatre, and the Samuel Cupples House among its 94 contributing buildings. The oldest building in the district (pictured above) is DuBourg Hall was built in 1888 and was the first building for St. Louis University when to they moved to their new location.
