This monument sits next to a cannon from the American Revolutionary War, and is dedicated to all men "who served in the wars of their country."

In Plymouth, by the Plymouth Town Hall, is this monument to the men of Plymouth who served in times of war.

The monument is located on the west side of Main Street, near the front entrance to the town hall.

The monument is made of light stone and is surrounded by bushes. It is about 8 ft high. There is a design that incorporates an eagle, shield, and banners. Then the town name, "Plymouth." Below that is an image of a rifle and anchor. Below is an arch supported by columns, with larger columns on either side. Inside the arch and columns are the words:

"In honor of the men of Plymouth who served in the wars of their country"

Below that are steps.

The back is the same, but without the words.
