North Reading Garden Club has established a Blue Star Memorial By-Way to honor the nation's service men and women in Ipswich River Park, a 49 acre park at the junction of Haverhill, Central and Chestnut Streets in North Reading, MA. The dedication ceremony was held on Saturday May 30, 2015. The monument consists of a bronze plaque mounted on a rectangular granite base. The plaque contains a blue star and is inscribed:
