This cut mark is possibly the one described on the OS site as -
SK8349 0007, CUT MARK, NBM GT P SE SIDE WOODLANE 12.0M SW JUNC HEDGE.
Speaking to the owner of the property I was informed that the building had been rebuilt during installation of a new damp course and the bricks reused in reconstruction, possibly from another structure on the farm.
