Painted and gilded triptych carved in oak. The central panel has a kneeling bareheaded soldier to the left and a kneeling bareheaded sailor to the right, over whom stands a crowned robed figure of Christ.
The memorial altar was the gift of Myron Herrick (ambassador of the U.S.A. in Paris, 1914)
