The mosaic is a copy of the logo for CamLETS that stands for "Cambridge Local Exchange Trading System". The words "CAM" and "LETS" can be seen in the bottom left and right corners respectively. The words "Act Locally" can also be seen to the left and above the mosaic's centre. In the centre of the mosaic there is a metal badge with the words "Cambridge 2000 - Sustainable City".

The mosiac uses a variet of coloured, various shaped pieces to re-create the CamLETS logo an image of which is included in the photos.
