"This bench mark was used during the First primary levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 75.0320 feet [22.8698 metres] above mean sea level (Liverpool datum). It was included on the Great Yarmouth to King's Lynn levelling line. The surveyor's description was No. 69. Mark on North-west corner of Paston Church tower ; 1.04 ft. above surface"
