Originally Robert Wyland painted one of his famous murals depicting whales at this site. It was called Whaling Wall. However the surface began to crumble and the mural was covered with corrugated metal. In 1998, the owners of Planet Storage commissioned Woonsocket, RI artist Ron Deziel to paint a new whale mural to replace the one by Wyland. The new mural features three orcas in place of Wyland's humpback whales. Below are four porpoises and various other forms of sea life. A vertical side piece features colorful salt water fish.
