In 2015 this 30 amp level 2 electric vehicle recharger, supplemented by solar energy, was installed at the rear of the Visitor Information Centre in Mittagong, and is Free to use once you are a member of ChargePoint.
This recharger is accessible by 58 of the 60 EV and plug-in hybrid vehicle models on Australian roads. Another two electric vehicle models can access this EV recharger using a type of adapter.
This EV recharger is NOT a fast recharger, so it would take up to about 5 hours to fully recharge most current electric vehicles from empty.
The recharging station is conveniently located in Mittagong's CBD where you can have a bite to eat, and is a stones throw to the central business district with an abundance of shops to keep you busy for more than 30 minutes, and near the railway station.
