The gorgeous Romanesque Revival Llano County Courthouse has a clock to match the grandeur of the rest of the building. It is framed in lighter-colored sandstone, which sets the white clock off from the rest of the red granite building.
The courthouse was built in 1893, and the clock has been part of the tower ever since. As of our visit on 20 Dec 2015 the clock was fully operational.
The clock face is round with elegant black hands that point to classic Roman numerals.
