SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE
The bridge was constructed for and the approaches by the
public works department of New South Wales.
The general design and specifications were prepared and
the whole supervised on behalf of the government of New South Wales by
J. J. C. Bradfield, D. SC. (Eng.), M.E., M. Inst. O. E., M.I.E. Aust., Chief Engineer.
Contractors for the design and construction of the main structure
Dorman, Long and Co., Limited, Middlesbrough, England
Lawrence Ennis, O.B.E. Director of construction for the contractors.
Ralph Freeman, M. Inst. C. E., M. AM. Soc. C. E.
Consulting and designing engineer for the contractors
