According to the Ontario marriage registration (1913 #004278), Lorna Frances Grierson (daughter of John Ferguson Grierson, farmer, and Isabella Harris) married Samuel Clifford Stevenson in Torbolton township, 2 July 1913.

In hospital on Friday, December 11, 1987. Lorna Frances Grierson, beloved wife of the late Clifford Stevenson, in her 101st year. Dear mother of Joy (Mrs. Donald Stranks), Ottawa, and Clarence Stevenson and wife Helen of Dunrobin, Ontario. Loving grandmother of Carolyn and David Stranks, Margaret (Mrs. D. Downey), John, Robert and Murray Stevenson. Great-grandmother of Debbie, David, Julie, Jodi, Michael, Emily, Benjamin and Samuel. Sister of Elsie Grierson and the late Wesley Grierson. Friends may call at Hulse and Playfair, West Chapel, 1098 Byron Avenue (west of Woodroffe), on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery.
