This long bridge over Town Lake (now known as Lady Bird lake) has carried rail traffic into downtown Austin for over a century.

This bridge was originally built for the Missouri Pacific RR in 1902. Today it is owned by the Union Pacific RR.

This bridge serves all rail traffic into downtown Austin, including AMTRAK.

It can be easily seen from Lanar Blvd., or anywhere along the western end of Auditorium Shores, or along the Town Lake bike trail in Austin.
