Kaiserin Friedrich, mit vollem Namen: Victoria Adelaide Mary Louisa, Prinzessin von Großbritannien und Irland, war ab 1888 Kaiserin. Sie starb 1901.

Die dankbaren Bürger Homburgs stellten 1902 diese Büste am Rand des Kurparks auf.
