The former International & Great Northern Railroad bridge, built in 1933, still carries trains into downtown Austin today.

This bridge was built in 1933 for the International and Great Northern Railroad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Missouri Pacific Railroad of Texas. Today it carries Union Pacific RR, Burlington Northern Santa Fe RR, and Amtrak trains through Austin.

This bridge is most easily viewed from Peter Pan Golf along Barton Springs Road just east of Lamar Blvd. in Austin.
