Spaulding Post #1134, American Legion and Auxiliary; Dryden Township Post #8158, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion in honor of all men and women who served our great nation in times of need."
"To honor those in the Town of Dryden who served their country in the 2nd World War with the Allied Nations for World Freedom ... Erected by the Dryden Grange No. 1112 1948"

Description of Memorial: This is a stone rectangular flagpole base. There are two plaques, on placed in 1948 for World War II veterans, the other in 1997 for all who served. Each face has the emblem of a branch of the armed services.
This is in a town square in the center of Dryden in from of two old churches.
