A selection of lightly weathered gargoyles around this church. Sadly some are a little obscured by modern drain pipes and funnels.

The parish church is 14th century, rebuilt in the 15th century (bequests dated 1469 and 1480). It was restored between 1820 and 1860. The tower and south aisle were damaged by enemy action in 1940, and again restored during 1949-51. The tower was further restored 1956-58.
