There are two War Memorials in the Parish Church. One on the west end by the arch to the tower has the names of all who fought in World War 1, and on the south wall is a memorial to those who died. The Memorial gives full name, date of death and age.
The Wooden Board Memorial commemorates not only those who died in World War 1 but also those who served.

The plaque reads:
To the Glory of God
and in honoured memory of the Men
of Happisburgh who fell in the
Great War 1914 – 1919

Erected by the paritioners

The board reads:
To the Glory of God
and in honour of the Men of Happisburgh
who served their King and Country in the
Great War 1914 – 1919
