This plaque, erected by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, is located on the east side of the triple arch leading from Queen's Gate Place to Queen's Gate Place Mews. The plaque advises of the arch's cleaning in 1978.

The arches are Grade II listed with the entry at the Historic England website telling us:

Mid C19. Elaborate triple archway; stuccoed Ionic order, segmental pediment (connecting Nos 18 and 19 Queen's Gate Place SW7).
