The font dates from the 15th century and was restored in 1884. It stands on three octagonal steps and consists of an octagonal bowl on a stem. At the base of the stem are carvings of grotesque beasts, although these are the invention of 19th century rather than 15th century minds. The bowl is supported by angels and its panels are carved with symbols of the Evangelists.
