Cut benchmark & 1GL bolt on the north-west corner of Walcot Church tower.

"This bench mark was used during the First primary levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 40.1860 feet [12.2487 metres] above mean sea level (Liverpool datum). It was included on the Great Yarmouth to King's Lynn levelling line. The surveyor's description was No. 60. Bolt in North-west corner of Walcot Church tower ; 0.67 ft. above surface"
