EN: The parish church Santa Maria Regina (formerly Saint Dionysius) is located in the center of Obergösgen.
A medieval church at this location was replaced by a new church in 1509 and expanded in 1642.
The community decided to rebuild the nave in 1954, which was enforced against the resistance of the Heritage Society. The bell tower from 1509 was preserved. The new church was consecrated on 22 April 1956.
DE: Die Pfarrkirche Sankt Maria Regina (früher Sankt Dionysius) befindet sich im Zentrum von Obergösgen.
Eine mittelalterliche Kirche an diesem Ort wurde 1509 durch einen Neubau ersetzt und 1642 erweitert.
Die Gemeinde beschloss 1954 einen Neubau des Kirchenschiffs, der gegen den Widerstand des Heimatschutzes durchgesetzt wurde. Der Kirchturm vom 1509 blieb erhalten. Die neue Kirche wurde am 22. April 1956 eingeweiht.
